由于PVC风管常用于输送腐蚀性气体或在有腐蚀性的环境中使用，因此管道安装时应尽量采用套管式承插连接，既可以保证风管的密封性，又可以避免风管内的腐蚀性介质对法兰、金属螺栓的腐蚀以及法兰缝隙的泄漏。为保证接口的强度不低于风管的强度，套管式承插连接时采用的板材厚度不能小于风管的板材厚度。
